Organizing Group Build Badges
Posted by EBergerud on Saturday, December 22, 2012 9:47 PM

I've figured out  how to put group build badges into the signature box under "Community Settings." Still stumped. I've got two and they are one over the other. Wiser heads have three or four running from right to left. Maybe two rows of them. (I don't think I want to know how you get them to flash.) Anyway, if I keep adding badges I'll have messages about a yard long. But the badges are nice things and I'd like to have them. I download the badges from the Group Build and they're very small. Should I shrink them further? The syntax is in one line separated with a ; . Something else? Help appreciated.

Those guys who have a long line of badge have pout them all into one image. I am not sure how myself. The rotating images are a GIF image. It can be downloaded for free and is pretty easy to use.

Since the revamp of the site, the sig area has changed a bit and i am still confused as to how it works. I try to change my sig a few weeks back but it wouldn't work. When i tried to go back to how it had been, that would not work either. A few guys seem to have an issue only being able to get the images one above the other. But as you can see, i have been able to get two different images side by side. Its all a bit odd.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Well, I got two of them on one line by simply shrinking the photos. That'll help.

i have a badge file in my image editing program (in my case photoshop). wvwery time i get a new badge i download it open it in PS, open my badge file in PS, size the new badge and copy/paste into the badge file. save the badge file as #badges and export it as a .jpg and change the file in my preferences.
