I posted 8 pictures on one of my posts and only 2 pic's showed on the post ???

Were all of the 8 hosted on the same photo site?  Did you use the picture icon all 8 times?  Go to your photo hosting site and make sure all 8 are still there.  Also, what do you see in the post?  Does anything show, like a link URL, or is there just the two pics and nothing else?

Good question...how do you post pics? Do they have to be on a photo site (i.e. Photobucket) or can they be uploaded from one's computer?

They have to be on a hosting site, such as PB. Once you have done that, use the 'Use rich formatting' link. There you will see the icon for posting pics as well as using smilies and other features.

I am very new to computers could someone please explain some of your terms like, hosting site, pb, pm, etcetera, it would be really appreciated.

PB is Photo Bucket, which is one of a number of hosting sites. You place your photo's on there and can then use the links to place them here and on other sites.

PM is Private Message. Most sites have this option. On here, if you click on someone's user name it will bring up their profile. You will then see a start conversation box. That's how you send a PM.
