Thank you for your reply.  Seems strange though, that they have eliminated this function.

We lost the ability to self-delete posts the last time the forum software was updated. Prior to that, there was a five-minute or so window after posting in which one could delete a post.

To delete a post now, you need to contact a forum admin to do it for you.

How to delete one's own post?
Posted by Cadet Chuck on Saturday, November 9, 2013 9:34 PM

Now and then, I make an error in a post or for some reason it is no longer pertinent, and I want to delete it.  Can someone tell me how to delete my own post?

For lack of a better method, I have been using the edit function and deleting the text, and then reposting it as a blank post.  But there must be a better way to get rid of it entirely.

Thanks, Chuck
