I've never used the insert image method.  And I've probably posted hundreds of pictures from Photobucket over the years.  This is how I do it-after you upload your pictures from your computer, they will appear as thumbnail pictures on PB.  Beneath the thumbnails are several options, I've always used the fourth one down, IMG.   If you left-click the box to the right of IMG. the code in the box will appear blue now.  Right-click and choose "copy".  Now, go back to the message you are composing here and simply "paste" the copied code (remember?  the one you copied with right-click?) into your message.  It (the pic) will appear when you post the message.  You can check your post to see the pic included with your message by using the "preview" option (^up above the window where you type).  Try this, and see if it works for you.  Good luck!

Agree with Don Photobucket is the most user friendly, in my opinion.

These are the points he mentions

Personally I use Photobucket, though I have a Facebook account that I don't use much. If you use Facebook you need to find out how to find the URL of the photo.  Many of us like PB because it is easy to obtain that address.

In any case, when you have the address the easiest way to proceed from there is to use the "rich formatting" option.  In the icon bar above the composition window there is an icon representing a single frame of film.  Click on that, paste the URL in the resulting window, and click INSERT.

Don't want to sound totally inept, I do know, or thought I knew how to use a computer. But how do I post a photo,or change the avatar on my profile? I have a Face Book account and photos, never quite got the knack for moving photos around. I'd appreciate some pointers. Thought maybe you guys might like to see what an old airdale could do with some styrene and glue. Thanks!
