I used to take the Fibre optics and heat the end slightly making kind of a teardrop shape .This worked , but , I think there might be a better way .Fibre - optics also work best when you paint all of it black except the working tip .That concentrates the light better .
Are you familiar with the Academy " Titanic " model .the Anniversary edition ? Well picture about 3400 strands to portholes and four large ones for spots and then a very bright bulb that had to have a cooling fn .That's what I did for a client . T.B.
