Why can't you change your start up date?

Ok, people. It's been almost seven years since I first joined Finesales' forum. It says that I joined in June of last year although it's been a while since I was active on the forums. I revived my four foot X-wing thread several times as, but I forgot about this website for a while since I couldn't do any building for a while. I HAVE kept it in the back of my mind from time to time until just recently when I got back into building again. You can clearly see that I joined September 18 of 2009 the first day I posted my tribute to the ILM four foot X-wing fighter thread - why can't you people adjust this so that it is reflected under my user name? I joined the same year that my grandma was put into a nursing home is the reason why I remember it so easily, although she just died yesterday. I'll always keep that time in my memory because of her.
