damouav I have had no issues using Google Photo, its free, easy to use and most importantly it works. Others use paid services with varied success. Just a word to the wise, avoid Photobucket like the plague.

Like Greg, i switched to Flickr prioy to PB's attempt to self destruct. Ashe suggests, you do need a Yahoo account, which i had through my BT account. But i have had no problems with it once i figured it out.

I had the unwitting good timing to have largely switched to Flickr just before Photobucket's extortionate rate-increase---I was a member of Yahoo already, so there was no extra sign-up hassle---and thus far it has been pretty trouble-free. It's a bit quirky in the way it has you upload and categorize photos, but every service has its peculiarities: once you hit the learning curve after doing it a couple of times, they all pretty much become second nature.
If you're wary (or simply confused), do a 'reviews' search for any service you're interested in. The good and bad points of each tend to 'rise to the top' having read just a few users' comments, and may help you make a choice.
Also, the recent 'alternative to Photobucket' threads on this very forum have users' experiences with pros and cons of various hosting alternatives. If all else fails, just pick one and try it out, to get a feel for the process. I've got the sense that there aren't huge differences between most of them.
But do pick one---it's a lot more fun with pictures!

Welcome aboard, FJS!
Unfortunately, you can't load photos directly to the forum. You'll have to upload them to one of the many photo hosting services, then use their individual protocol to insert the links into your post.
Cheers
