Hunter -

Might try contacting the host of those GB's and see if they still have the badges in their 'puter files before they uploaded to PB.  If so they should be able to email to you, save to your files, and upload on imageshack, then put on your signature page.

GH,

Thank you sir for your suggestion.....both of the host of the GB's sent them to me. Thank you again for your suggestion.

Thank you TJ. I figured I was out of luck. I refuse to pay "PB" any money.

I don't have PB, and when I view the forums, I see a lot of PB Update messages where an image should be. Will changing image software change that and make the forum photos viewable? Also, I have DropBox registered. Will that work with FSM forums? J. Moran

if the image was brought over from photobucket. Then that image has been held hostage by photobucket unless the person that posted it wants to pay  $400 a year for third party hosting which is basically any forum. So to answer your question it has nothing to do with the image software you have

Bish, BS214 and 5High,

Thank you gentlemen...I have ImageShack and have had zero issues with them. I just can't believe that "PB" want's $500.00. I paid $18.00 per year with "IS" with unlimited uploads. Pure theft on "PB" behalf.

If you have a paid account with them, your images should still be showing.

But yes, the PB actions are extortion, pure and simple. Thank goodness that there are several alternatives.

But there are bigger problems in the world to worry about.

Been away for a bit ..wow ..when did this happen ??...is flicker easy to use

Like Bish stated...flicker is nice, and from what I hear it is easy to use. I have ImageShack and it is very easy. Just plug your camera or phone into your laptop or tablet and upload to your account.

Happened a few months back, they now want 400 bucks a year to allow you to post your own images on forums.

I started useing Flickr some time before that and i do like it, but you need a Yahoo account. Bit tricky to figure out, but once i did have had zero issues and no ad's on the site either.

BS214,

Thank you sir...I have ImageShack, but the badges that were uploaded on PhotoBucket by the GB host just won't stay. Thank you

I always copy badges into a file on my own computer and then load them through my own hosting site. I'd rather not rely on useing other peoples links in case they have issues with them or delete them.

You're not going to get your GB badge image that was uploaded off PB anymore due to their 3rd party issues. Unless you're willing to pay $500 a year for their subscription plan in order to use it. Photobucket has basically held all your images hostage. You have should have zipped all your images before they locked in your photos.

Getting "PB" GB Badges to Stay
Posted by Hunter on Monday, October 9, 2017 9:03 AM

Hello all,

I am having issues with "PhotoBucket" GB badges staying in the signature area. Once I get the badge set it's fine, but when I close FSM on my laptop and reopen it displays the PhotoBucket "timed out reset your account" can someone instruct me on how to correct this so the photo of the badge stays. Thank you for your time and help in this matter.
