Joe, I'm glad it worked out for you. I hope to see some of your efforts in the future.

Thanks Tomcat I believe you may have saved what's left of my hair, after testing half a dozen hosting sites excruciating is a polite way of putting it. Hope to complete a GB in the near future.

The badge I am adding, (well attempting to add), is the Airfix 80 Year Group build.

It is being added the same as any post. Well any way, here it is:

so what gives?

You might have to many charectors in your sig, the link to the pic will take up a lot. Try hosting the pic without everything else you have written.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Sorry for your frustration. Difficult to say what the trouble is without being able to 'look over your shoulder,' so to speak.

Do you have the badge hosted on the same site as the 'regular' images you post? If not, that might be the root of your problem.

Adding a badge to my signature - getting error
Posted by Tomcat on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 11:46 AM

Hi all,

Finally completed a model for a group build and I want to add the Badge to my signature. When I insert the image into the signature area, just like inserting an image in any post, it appears just fine. When I go down to click on "update settings", I get a new page that says "Validation error". Return to previous page and correct the fields in error.

Well, that's just fine. It doesn't tell me which fields are in error or what the error is. Not helpful at all. The only change is inserting the badge image into my signature.

Anybody have a suggestion?
