Copyright Protocols

Assume i want to use a copyright image to illustrate a post.

I can post a link to the pic like so, http://afvinteriors.hobbyvista.com/250/250-21.jpg and I am pretty sure that is copyright cool.

But if I it, is that a breech or is it still OK?

Just curious :)

Cheers! Andy

What you are doing in hyperlinking.
I don't believe that is a copywrite infringement but some sites do not allow hyperlinking or request that you don't. If unsure, you can always just post the url.
