I updated Chrome.  I still get the pop-ups, but they stay one size and don't enlarge when I move my cursor near them.

Still annoying.

Hang in there scottrc, they got mine fixed. Not sure what they did but it just stopped and now I'm back to normal.

It takes a number of attemps to make a posting.  That dang add is right over the "Submit" button, and it's gotten smart in that it now moves into my cursor as I try to delete it and I get transported into Pop-Up land.

I love it here, but it looks like I may need to vacate for a while.  I cannot stand being horse wipped by advertisers.

Exactly like that Mrchntmarine

No repsonse from Finescale yet. It's a shame their site is getting ruined.

TheMongoose

The site is almost unusable to me when using my ipad due to these redirects from the advert pop-ups. Abour 2 weeks back I accidentally clicked on 1. Now when I'm using the site I get these automatic redirects. The page just changes. There are a variety of pop ups. 3 most common are norton antivirus needs updated, I won a spin, and adobe needs updated. The norton one creates about 20-30 redirects and I have to close Safari to get out of it. I have worked with Apple tech support on this and they determined it was the finescale site. They got the norton redirect on their test mac. They suggested I notify you to see what the problem is. I can tell you it is extremely annoying on my end. Also, I have wiped my ipad, restored to past save i had, blocked all cookies and nothing has gotten rid of it. My desktop works ok. Could you help please.

you mean like this?

Started to get these on the ipad.  Now its awful!!!  BC i still dont get notifications, i have to continually log in AND fight these.   AWFUL

Keep on modeling!

All the best,

William

Same problem here, but on my Desktop, Windows 10, Chrome.  The side pop-ups are not too bad, although they overlap and smother out the FSM adds on the right side of the page.  The adds on the footer of the page are the ones that, if I am not careful, prevent me from submitting a post. Touching the "Submit Your Replay" can activate the add and it re-directs me to the sponsors page and I lose my post.
