How do I insert a link?
Posted by JohnnyK on Saturday, February 13, 2021 1:11 PM

For some reason, my links no longer work on these forums? I use the "Insert Link" feature, but my links do not work.

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

Just checking to see if I still can use the "insert link" feature.

I don't use the insert link option, i just copy and paste. Some times it works, sometimes not, been like this for ages. It might depend on the source of the link.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

The insert a link feature seems to have been frequently involved with the 403 forbidden error message of the past few motions. Mr Kidwell posted a message the other day that they had done some fix work on that problem and perhaps that fix has killed the hotlink capability...

Go to your testing post and I figured it out.

edit: Nope.  Not working for me anymore either.  Looks like its working when I'm writing a post, but as soon as I post, its no longer a link.

I think I had it figured out.
