How to prevent members signatures..?

Hi, Tim, there's a setting to display member signatures in posts.  I think that has the effect of hiding the whole signature section, so if there are links, images, etc, that can condense the posts on the page, for better visibility.

 

Sounds like he has it unchecked, but the signatures still display.  That sounds like a bug.

I have the "signatures" unticked in settings to no avail...Any suggestions..?
