The stars change color every time you go up in rank:
No stars - less than ten posts (rank: Snap-together)
1 star - 10 posts (rank: Boxstock)
2 stars - 100 posts (rank: Aftermarket)
3 stars - 500 posts (rank: Multi-media)
4 stars - 1000 posts (rank: Kitbashed)
5 stars - 2000 posts (rank: Scratchbuilt)

Of course the ranks don't really show your modeling ability... it just shows if you talk a lot. Big Smile [:D]

Yau are a marked man! LOL The stars are an indication of how many posts you have made. As you post more the number of stars and their colors will change so get in there and get posting.
