A lot of the photos posted by members come to me as little black rimmed boxes with a red X in the middle. I am a computer neophyte and have not found a way to bring up those pics in order to look at them. I'm using Windows XP with a number of programs my computer guru daughter put on for me but none of them seem to have any suggestions.
I will appreciate any tips because I can tell by reading that the pics are worth viewing.

MackP,

The red x is an indication that the picture has not loaded in your system properly either because the link is already invalid or the the picture takes to long to download that your system timed out and aborted the download process. As it is now however, a lot of pictures do not show in the forum because of invalid links. So I think you really have no problem unless of course you are on a really slow dial-up connection.
