Always lookin' for a way around those rules, eh Blackwolf?? You rebel you...lol.

Yes, it's true, outright trading on the board is prohibited. There are several reasons, none of which I'll get into, but alot of it also has to do with maintaining a certain level of quality in the forums. Besides, there are lots of other forums that openly promote the buying, selling and trading of kits. Hyperscale, ARC, LSP, all have trading forums. Chances are, most of the folks that visit these forums also visit the others (forum-hopping...a new word maybe?).

They do not allow forthright advertising of any sort. You can't come out and say "I've got this, that and another thing for sale." They'd rather you pay to use their classified section... and you can't really blame them too awful much. Well, you can... Tongue [:P]

They don't seem to have a problem with someone asking where they can find a kit or other item and also don't seem to mind if someone says, 'HEY! I gots me one-a dem! You want it?"

In any event, even though they don't allow overt trading, buying and selling they really haven't the power to eliminate it altogether. You just have to know how to buy and sell subtle-like, and if a trade or sale comes about as a result of a discussion... ain't a dang thing they can do about it... Mischief [:-,] Wink [;)]

1. Yes, I'm pretty sure they can/do.

2. Not sure on this one, but I think it might be. May have something to do with competing with sponsors? That's something of a wild guess on my part though.

Being somewhat new to the forum I am curious about something. Do administrators or moderators have the ability t remove or delete a post that they feel is not consistent with the rules, regs or intent of the message board? Is it inappropriate or flat out not allowed to suggest a trade of kits?
