You need to host it on a site, most of use use www.photobucket.com, upload the pic, copy and past the 'fourm code' into your sig.

Thats it, it is really easy.

No, when you copy the forum code you should get something like this...

http ://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/John200/coolpic_463x200.jpg

(http://.........) - I had to put the space in or else it would post the pic.

Anyway, you past the code into your reply, your sig, whatever, you will see the code, but after you post, the pic will appear.

Try it in the testing forum.
