Yes, I do build the normal stuff too! 1/72 Hellcat

This could be called my first "normal" build.  Revell Germany's F6F-5 Hellcat in 1/72.

I don't know if this is a new mold, or the dreaded Revell Germany rebox.  Either way, the kit is very well done.  High parts count, finely engraved panel lines, etc., etc., etc.  Decals are definitely new Revell Germany: no problems there.  Insturment panels are only decals, though, which is the only shot against it.  But altogheter a nice little kit.

This kit languashed for over a year in a built-up state.  It was only a few days ago that I finally finished it.  The piant is a bit dark I think (I had to custom mix it), but I "retaliated" by beating the crud out of it!  (Figuratively, of course.)

More pics should be coming in the near future, so stay tuned!  (Any requests for angles?  Anyone?)
