you use the img brackets with the url in your signature....thats all I did with mine...go to profile...type in the first braket/img paste the url/imgclosing bracket....then click preview it should show the image if it does hit the update profile button.

I see.. But this only allows it to appear once, and I'd have to repeat the process with each post... Yours appear in your signature field...

Domi you have to use the img/brackets just like you do for images and make sure you selected the BB code and not the email code as they are different....

Dave, I do not see how to make mine appear..!

Here's the url: http://www.smiliegenerator.de/smiley-flag/smiley-6603.png

I've added it into my profile and it appears into the preview, but not in my posts... What am I doing wrong???

Actually I had the link bookmarked on AOL...as I sometimes use the animated smilies on the main page created by some of the users....they also have a somewhat extensive selection of Star Wars smilies as well as some pretty gruesome ones! HEHE
They can be found here:http://www.clicksmilies.com/

My favorite is the one my daughter once had on the front of a tee shirt. It was a regular smiley face with a bullet hole right in the center of it's forehead. Never saw it again.
