Seriously, it is a bug I'm aware of, although I don't remember the explanation for why it happens to some people and not others.  There is no time limit set for deleting posts.  If I recall correctly, even when a time limit was set, the error still occurred.  I believe this is fixed in the next version of the forum software which is due to be completed later this month.

As for the double post, a couple of alternative options you have are a) remove the text and replace it with "it's Jeff's fault" (or some other lighthearted statement) or b) use the report link and ask for it to be deleted.

I know this transition hasn't been perfect and I apologize for the inconveniences caused by the recent upgrade.

So I accidentally made a double post in the Armor Forum. Being a polite user, I immediately clicked "DELETE" on one of the posts and a get a message that reads [essentially], "There's an administrator set time limit to delete posts and you've exceeded that limit."

Thinking I may have tried to delete the first message I posted, I clicked "DELETE" on the other one...I received the SAME error message.

For crying out loud, what is this "time limit", 2 microseconds? It had only been 30 seconds since I made the double post.

Any answers?

Thanks

Robert Foster
