A quick heads up regarding the forums.
Sometime this week, likely tomorrow (Oct 10th), we will be moving the forums to another webserver, the rest of the site will be unaffected. There may be a brief period of downtime of a few minutes when the switch is made.
As part of this move, the url for the forums will be changing. Existing urls will be automatically redirected to the new url so you shouldn't encounter any issues with links in posts, bookmarks, etc.
One of the reasons behind this move has to due with performance. Due to the aggressive caching of the forums, it will use as much resources as we allocate to it. By moving the forums to it's own webserver, we can allow it to use as much as it needs without impacting the rest of FineScale.com and other websites we're hosting on this same server.
