anyone having image link problems?
Posted by PatlaborUnit1 on Sunday, October 29, 2006 11:06 AM

Hi everyone

When i log in to post a new topic, the link button at the top of the edit window is greyed out. Even right clicking in the text box to post a new link is not working for me. This has happened the last coupld of days for me, is anyone else having thi sproblem?

 Thanks

 David

Yea, the new forum format is messing with everyone.
David Voss, chief web designer for Kalmbach publishing, has a thread in the Anouncments, Here on how to add links and other problems of late. Hope it helps.

Thanks Drew

I dont visit these forum boards enough to note that there was a difference going on here, but honestly, even at work, 9 times out of ten its just me that is having the odd problem that no one else seems to experience.

thanks for the help

David

They're making some changes to the editing tools, smiley's etc. so it will take a little bit before everything is sorted out again.  The hyperlink button will remain grayed out until you type in your link, then it becomes active, or something like that.

You have to type out the text you want to have linked, highlight the text and then click on the link button.
