I know what you mean, it happens to a mate of mine on his system too. Unfortunately it was enough to put him off joining the forums.

I wish we could go back to the original format (Yes I know it will never happen) but it really was sooooo much better than it is now. Its the price of progress I guess......

I dont know Safari from Firefox , but i do know that when i reply to a post i have to wait for three screens to flash on my screen before i can start typing , Its irritating .

I get some of the smileys but not the all of them .

Well, it would be nice if he could-but if the FSM guys can't make it happen I guess we can still enjoy the forum on Firefox.

Good question... I too use Safari as my main browser & had to switch to Firefox in order to use the smilies,etc. Now I don't know if David Voss can do this or not. He has a habit of getting "carried away" so to speak...

Hi, I've been using the FSM forum for years and I really like it. Its my local hobby club. When we had the big software change a while back, there were a few problems for us Mac users, but they got sorted out as promised. There's just one thing........why can't we post smileys when using Safari?

I now use use Firefox to view FSM and with that I have the toolbar functions that we used to have, but I prefer to use Safari as my main web broser. Is there any chance that in the future the fourm may be more user friendly for Safari users? It would be great to get the smileys back again, I enjoy using them in my posts.
