what changed with posting (smileys and text)

what changed? i no longer can changed text (size and color) nor can i make more than one paragraph. I can live without the smileys but would like them. The thing that bugs me the most is that all my posts are in one giant block of text. No paragraphs! It makes it very difficult to make a decent post that way. Something changed about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Very frustrating! example; New paragraph. New paragraph. New paragraph. sorta looses something doesn't it? HELP < would have been in a different color and larger text for emphasis if i could!

This does appear to have affected some of us. I only get the basic text based editor on this 'puter but I have all the bells and whistles on my other one.
You can get a line break by inserting the HTML line break < br > (delete the spaces)
You can still get bold text by inserting the HTML code < b >
Italicise using < i >
and still add smileys using img tags eg. {img}/FSM/CS/emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif{/img} (substitute "[" for "{" and "]" for "}")
See This link for a list of basic BBcode instructions (note that some may not be implemented here)

I tried a test posting and I can't change fonts nor do I have the smileys. I don't have IE7 because it played havoc with my system. Couldn't even back date restore. Had to go in safe mode to do the back date restore. I don't post very often yet it seems to me the last time I posted I could change fonts and I had the smileys available. That's been a few months ago. What the heck am I doing wrong?
