Insert Link button disabled?

Sadly, some "legit" sites have been hacked and seeded with phishing bots in the past, so it's a risk I'm not prepared to take. It's just the first page, not subsequent pages that is so slow. I'll have to play about with it more perhaps.

However I'm logged on here with IE7 just to test it!

The reason why it's so slow for you is because the Microsoft Anti-phishing filter is turned on by default.  If you're even remotely internet savvy you don't need it, I would recommend turning it off.  Otherwise, even sites you frequent, are checked for phishing every time you try to go to them.  That eliminates the load problem.

Hmmm, works fine for me.  I use IE7, works great.  I like Firefox too, but I find there are too many websites that don't work properly with it.

And what do you know! It now works like it did before! I wonder if this is some weird thing with Firefox? I'm now on version 2.0.0.3.

BTW I've always found that typing in the code ([ url= web address]Unique Title[ /url] is faster than that link button. I've never bothered with the insert image button, either.

That's what I normally do, but this time it's staying greyed out.

I find the need to paste a link, highlight it, paste the link in the new box and finally entering to be a bizarre ritual, when other sites just let me paste the link directly.
