I am receiving anywhere from 3 to 5 email notifications for a single post to the forum. I have checked and the problem does not seem to be my server.

I started getting them again last week after a couple of weeks without them. I'm getting each one 2 times now. At one point it was up to 4 and 5 times each. I hope that this is not a problem with the new set-up FSM is going to have. It used to pop up only on weekends, but now it happens during the week too. If my memory serves me right ( and at my age, most of the time it doesn't) this all started in September.

Since the changeover to the new format, I have been inundated with e-mail announcements, to threads I may be interested in and many more to those that I have never read. I have tried disabling every option dealing with e-mail, all to no avail. Can anyone help me slay this dragon?

I do not get the multiple emails, but what I do get is an email telling me there is a new post to the thread and it turns out to be MY post??? I'm pretty sure I don't need a reminder on what I typed.

No, you don't, but the software can't distinguish between who posts, only that there is a new post.

That would be nice to fix though, I do believe the old style didnt do that. Just saying, its kinda odd that's all.

I too don't need an e-mail of the post I just posted, or the new topic I just posted, but hey, in FSMs eyes anything is regarded as progress, right?
