I've posted a few photos today, but the method doesn't seem to be too direct. First I clicked on the film strip icon, that gave me a broken link once I had added the URL for the location of my image. However, once I had the broken link the previous tree icon became active again, which it had not been previously. I had to strip off all the leading code and re-add http:/ which had been stripped from what I had originally entered in the window that comes up with the film strip icon.
The typeface is extremely small in the filmstrip icon window, almost impossible to read.
Thanks, I'll bet you are having an exciting time.
John

John, have you tried cutting and pasting the IMG tags directly into the post? That's what I do and I have never used the "post image" or as it is called now "insert media" button!
So long folks!
Thats what I did too, like the old days. It seems to work ok. What I still haven't figgered is how to set up a quote block, miss that old quote button.
Looks like "original poster" is back, now "first poster".
Hit the "Reply" button and scroll down to the bottom of the post you want to quote and hit the "Quote" button.
Or, if you are a quick typist, just cut and paste directly from the post using the "Quick Reply" link and use the HTML tags.
[ quote ] or [ quote user="username" ] to begin the quote
[ /quote ] to end the quote.
Don't forget to take out the 'spaces' to make the tag work!

All using the quick reply and the keyboard!

That is probably what I will do, I wasn't sure the new setup would permit that. It will be difficult for new users to figure out. It seems like I directed 5 people a week to David Voss's old post before, and I suppose there will be an analogue for that in the new setup.
