Please change the forum back!!!!
Posted by model maniac 96 on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 11:54 PM

Dear FSM staff, I must say that I had high hopes for the new forum. Let's just say that these changes fell far short.

1. I had bookmarked quite a few threads for reference and help, many of them WIP's so they were really helpful!! but now I go to my bookmarks and click on any of those threads and it will not bring them up. It says that there is an error in application and will not load the page, are these awesome threads lost forever????

2. It seems that there are so many more steps to do everything, and the quote button seems to be gone.

3. This is minor, but I liked the old smileys MUCH better, they just seem to be better and display the emotion somewhat better, but that is just my opinion...

     Thanks, Jim

Every time I replied to a post, I got the post sent back to me in my e-mail. Is that supposed to happen?

Jim (no smiley, you took them away)

 Main WIP:

On the Bench: Artesania Latina  (aka) Artists in the Latrine 1/75 Bluenose II

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Jim,

The "quote" button appears at the bottom of the "original" post displayed above when you reply to a post. Though it initally  opens empty, the "Post message" box is filled when you press "quote".  Then edit the quoted section (if required) and type your reply.
