Return to current page - Not 1st page !
Posted by *INDY on Sunday, December 13, 2009 10:12 PM

~ A selective feature at some Forums, that would be VERY useful here is being able to set up your Forum settings to open a thread to the last page, instead of the 1st when you click a title. True on this Forum you can select which page of a title to open if you remember to click the tiny number, but if by clicking a title you we're taken to the current post in the conversation, time could be saved, especially with it taking so long to open threads now, and this would save a couple highly annoying steps after posting, and trying to return to your post to check how it looks.

P.S. Many older and WIP threads still are unfindable, unopen-able  or so slow they are useless. Fixing the issues  with data management   takes priority with the mods I hope.

Thanx

Indy, if you click on the "Latest Post" link you go straight to that post. You can also sort the thread from newest to oldest or vice versa.

So long folks!

You're right, but it isn't the same, and not as good IMO. I don't what to view the posts backwards, I'm too used to reading them in order, I just want to see the current page(in the normal order) especially when I've finished posting.

Thanks for the tip on "Last Post", I guess in time I may remember to hit that instead of the tiny number.
