I feel your pain, brother...

Apparently, all the mods have been lost in the Haiti earthquake...

Isn't it wonderful?  Three errors before the thread loads and two more going back to the index after the 2 or 3 tries to post my reply.  I'm sorta curious as to what they are either doing on their end or what happened to the server.

well now I don't feel so dumb! I get the same stupid thing at least once a day. But what I hate worse is not being able to go right back where I was reading after making a post. Always back to the start of the thread is just fine if there's only half a page, but we have threads that will go thru twenty five pages!  And I'm still getting five minute down loads on large threads that have a lot of graphics in them (I'm on high speed DSL)

The thing that I think irks me the most with this whole thing, is Scale Auto switched to the same software a year or two ago. These guys work for the same publisher, they couldn't walk down the hall and ask, "hey how is that new forum software working out" or failing that at least "hey we are having some issues, how did you fix xyz?"

I will also note SA does not take you to a thank you for posting page, it just takes you back to the page you were viewing, so that is not the software it is just a setting.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one having this problem.  I thought that it was my computer illiteracy or just plain supidity.

Yes, I get this about 75% of the time I try to post or even access the forum. Sometimes I get it when I just use the "back" function. It is amazing that the page I looked at 6 seconds ago is now unavailable. It makes reading and following multiple page topics nearly impossible. Hardly seems worth it any more.
