Page Numbers Don't Work!!!
Posted by bbrowniii on Monday, February 15, 2010 5:45 PM

OK, so if I go into a thread and try to navigate to a previous page using the page numbers that were recently added at the top - it doesn't work.  The page will refresh, but it refreshes to the place I just tried to leave.

The page numbers at the bottom do work...  What gives...?

Boyd, this seems to be a Firefox issue, rather that a FSM problem. Though their web guy could probably tweak it so Firefox could work. I find it works on occasion and then not, without any consistency. I've tested it using Google Chrome and IE8 and both work as expected.

Bill

I'd buy that explanation if I were using Firefox....  I am not....  I'm a Vista guy (please don't judge me too harshly....)Embarrassed

And I should modify my original post - it works for me intermittently, particularly if I click on a specific page number.  If I click on 'Previous', I get nothin...

LOL! I use Vista, too.

Firefox is a browser. What internet browser are you using?

Ah! Have you upgraded to IE8? I strongly suggest you do, if you haven't, or switch to Firefox (which is faster and more secure than any version of IE). IE6 is rife with security issues and is quite buggy. I've only tested this issue in IE8 and it's never failed on switching pages for me. But I don't use it as my browser, so maybe I've been lucky?

So long folks!
