Can a post be hacked ?
Posted by Wirraway on Monday, November 1, 2010 7:15 PM

My thread in General Discussion (should price be a factor in kit reviews ?)  every time I've typed the word MONEY, its turned that word into a link to a webpage that is a work-from-home advertising site.  WTF ?

Seriously though, it's not showing a link on my browser. If you have Word, or another HTML equipped writing program on your computer, type in money and see if it makes a link. YOU may have been hacked.

you might have downloaded something that quick-links to advertising sites. Kinda a cross betweena hyper-link and a pop-up. I had these before... a pain to get rid of. May have been accidental.

Found the culprit.  Sushi games (which I downloaded the other day)  is sponsored by this work-from-home-company.  Hmm, now to get rid of it.  I'll try CCleaner, if that doesnt work, system restore I guess.
