Are Forums Slow Today?
Posted by Sprue-ce Goose on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 7:31 PM

Does the forum seem a bit slow or "off" today?

I've been getting forum page loading problems.

Slow or freezing page loads.

Thought switching to Norton from Kaspersky might be causing it but my Kaspersky desktop has same problems.

Other web pages from elsewhere load fine.

Anyone else having problems?

Yup. I first noticed last night and it has continued through today.

I saw a report that stated that starting threads asking if a forum is running slowly, generally makes things run more slowly! Geeked Whistling

No, because that one doesn't ask if the forum is running slowly...

Dude !  My original post stated :

" .....getting forum page loading problems.

Slow or freezing page loads."

So far, today, the forum server has not been exhibiting page loading problems.

OTOH, you have been a "most excellent" poster...........Propeller
