I paid $3 shipping on two slivers of Photo Etch from Greatmodels... That was for the slowest, pony express delivery they had...

I'm not  a postal worker so I don't know for sure but I doubt that it matters if it's going to the next city or the next state.. the postage is the same. That is the prime reason i use Luckymodel for many purchases... Free shipping on most any Aftermarket item (PE, small resin items, gun barrels). I just ordered a 1/32 Tamiya mustang from them. Shipping was $20 but even at that I beat the LHS price by $25

Disturbing Shipping Charge

I just took advantage of the 25% off offer for the "Building and Detailing Sherman Tanks."   At $16 for this magazine it sounded like a good deal.  However, at the end of the transaction, $5.50 got added on for "normal" shipping.  From Milwaukee to Glen Ellyn (Chicago) ??  This seems a bit steep, doesn't it?  It might make me think twice before ordering another rag.

Thanks for listening.  Dennis.
