Silk is the native browser of Amazon's Kindle Fire HD. When I try to login to the forums, nothing happens. My name/password appear in the boxes but I never get logged in. This is the only website where I have experienced login problems using Silk.
I can't switch to another browser, Amazon doesn't play nicely with others in this regard.
I know this won't be a priority as I imagine there are not a lot of people trying to access the forums via Kindle Fires but I wanted to pass it along anyway.
thanks
I can log in fine my Kindle Fire. I am on it now.
I say check you cookies settings (under privacy settings). Also consider clearing all cookies to see if that will help any.
Tried that and it didn't help. It just mocks me by displaying my name and password but not accepting them. Odd that's just this site. Oh well.

So, how'd you get here to enter your question?
I'm confused, obviously, but might there be a "settings"or update issue on your Kindle ?

Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
I have this ancient device called a laptop....
I was having the same problem, where I would Google search the mobile site and click on it - and nothing would happen. I was about to call the "Mayday" feature but dug a bit deeper. The Google Search I was using was an App called "Let Me Google That For You" - the first "Google" app that I came across when I got my Kindle Fire a week ago. Turns out that between the Kindle Silk browser and the app that I used I was getting nothing, so I just went to the basic Web search in the home screen the the Kindle Fire and then typed in "Finescale Modeler Mobile". I was able to log in then and even tested posting in the Forums. Hope this helps.
