Posted by PatW on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 8:52 AM

I've submitted to the gallery a meyers manx buggy twice now, the last time was about 6 weeks ago and the first time 10 weeks ago. No go.

Hi PatW,

Thanks for submitting your photos.

On Aug. 15, we sent an email to you concerning your submission and some information we needed to write captions with proper identification and attribution. If you would like, I can forward this email to you again.

Sincerely,

Tim Kidwell

Well, as long as we're on the subject, I too submitted some model pics that never made it to the gallery. I just figured they were rejected. Would've been around April - May ? ?

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

FlyItLikeYouStoleIt,

This thread is for forum issues. My response to PatW was to indicate that there was nothing wrong with the Forum or Gallery, but, rather, a mixup in communication.

We receive a lot of submissions to Reader Gallery--far more than will allow us to respond to each submission. In addition, the photos require correction and the captions written and/or edited. Finally, the number of photos we receive means that it sometimes takes a while for a submission to hit either the magazine page or the website's gallery.

So the best course of action is to have patience.

Thanks,

Tim

Right. I am as patient as a clam. Hence my reason for not bringing the subject up for 4 - 5 months. I just thought I'd jump in as long as someone else was on the topic.

my apologies . . . .

Bill.
