Can't post pics on Private Messages
Posted by stikpusher on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 1:33 PM

For the past several months, I have not been able to attach images to PMs. All it does is attach the URL, and I use the exact same method as when posting pics in the forums for the same images from my Photobucket. Anybody else experienceing this?

Stik,

I just sent you a PM.

When you're ready to post an image, right click on it and select Copy URL (should be an option). Then click the insert image button in the message. Paste the image URL into the box and your image should appear in the message.

Yes, image copies are not the problem currently. It is sending stuff from my PB account that has ceased... probably since around August or so, now that I think about it...

Guys,

I go to the image that I want to load and then right click on it. That brings up a menu that gives me the option to Copy Image URL.

After I've copied the image URL, I click the insert image button.

I paste the copied URL into the dialog box that comes up and click insert. The image should appear in the text box.

You can use the same method for posting to threads, too. As I've done with Spider-Man below.

Absolutely! I'm glad we were able to figure it out.

Best,
