Font changes color and goes to bold...
Posted by SMJmodeler on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 10:20 AM

A couple of my current responses have changed the font to green and went bold after I hit the "post" button.

When I type the response it's typical...not bold and black.  I even went back several times to edit the post to confirm the font type and color were correct but it keeps changing it back when I post it.

Anyone else experience this dilemna?

I have seen this a lot when some folks post images. I noticed it turned after you posted that Sherman pic in the Rommel group build. Lots of times its even clickable. Mabye the text is getting included in the image link somehow?

Hi SMJmodeler,

The image text picks up styles when the link is embedded, and that can sometimes carry over to the text that follows the image. Jester is right--basically, the text is being treated as part of the image link.

You can avoid this by using the insert image button in the tool bar. Or, if using Photobucket, make sure the image link you insert looks like this:

(IMG)  link   (/IMG)

Not this:

(URL)= link (IMG) link (/IMG) (/URL)

(Imagine brackets where I have inserted parentheses.)

Hope this helps.

Tim:  I just added another response with an attachment through photobucket and everything was fine.  I haven't gone back to see if it's formatted as you suggested...but I'll keep this info handy for future refence, thanks!Beer
