Unable to stay logged on

Which browser do you use?

When I went to IE10 (on Win7), I found that the browser did not handle secure sites well.  I would access a site like FSM and get logged in, but then I found that every couple of hops from one page to another, I would get prompted to log in again.  It happened here, at eBay, Facebook, Amazon, every forum I belong to.  It happened regardless of any specific setting on any page to save my credentials or to keep me logged in.

I switched to using Firefox, and this did not occur, so it definitely seemed like an Internet Explorer issue.  Also, I recently upgraded IE to 11, and found that the problem persists, though it's not quite as bad as it was with 10.

I don't see this with Chrome, either.

Yeah, sorry then, that was the first thing I thought of, when I read your description.  I'm using Firefox, v33.0.2, on Win7, and it doesn't happen for me.  I'm afraid we'll need to see what the FSM tech staff have to say.

This is the first time we've encountered this particular difficulty. I've checked your settings for the Forum, and you should not have to log in every time. Do you have your browsers set to clear all of your cookies every time you close them? Or are you blocking the Forum from storing site preferences or login status?

    I'm using XP and IE 8 and am having the same issue.  Every now and then I'll find that I've been logged out of the system.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that its one of my security programs doing this since it's happening with just about all my logins now. I've tried changing settings but doesn't help. I'm resolved to just logging in every time .
