Include sub forum heading when viewing list of recent posts?
Posted by jgeratic on Friday, June 3, 2016 1:34 PM

Sometimes the topics members post have very general titles.  If the site could include the sub forum they originate from, then that extra info could give better idea of what is being asked/discussed without having to open the link.

Yes, I know the thread is only one click away, but this would really benefit those that don't have much spare time nor don't have uber connection speeds.

regards,

Jack

Hello!

Yeah, that would be a good idea. At the same time there could be a link to the indicated sub-forum (aircraft, armor, general, etc.) - in case somebody would like to view the subforum for more similar content or post own new thread - I know I would use that feature a lot.

Now I wonder if this idea could be accepted at Kalmbach. And if it is accepted, if they can implement it under half a year...

Thanks for reading and have a nice day

Paweł

Yes Yup... too many generic thread titles when you look from mobile that end up being a waste of time to look at. The sub forum header would reduce that.

I don't know how many- I never counted- times I have seen the following title for a post- " A Question."  Not very informative!  A question about what?

That's a copy/paste....link to the thread, as well as link to the sub forum.
Comes from the recent posts at the top when I click on "home".
