Recent Topics?

It seems that the newest tweak to forum navigation forgot to add a button or two for the desktop version...

Why do they keep changing things here?

Or was it Putin? Wink

If you want to save it to your favourites (or Windows 10's "top sites" homepage) here's the direct link: http://cs.finescale.com/f/recent.aspx

Had the same thing since yesterday...couldn't get anywhere to post/question it.

Just a while ago...toward the top/right...I hit the "log in" button...logged in and that blank dropdown went away. Back to normal.

Same here. Two days ago I couldn't find anything on the forum.

GMorrison said in another thread a logout and log back in solved problem.  I thought that worked for me too, but sometimes I can find the recent posts and sometimes not.

Community>Forum>Recent Discussions seems to get there, that's an awful lot for me to remember some days.

Hey Guys! Elizabeth here from the FSM staff. This is hopefully an easy fix. On my Mac, if I refresh the bowser (Command+R) that fixes the problem. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache.

My iPhone was doing it as well. I ended up deleting all of my website data from the Settings>Safari menu and it cleared it back up. Very strange bug this one.

Dunno Stik. I personally don't use IE. I had to do it with Chrome from 3 machines that I use and it worked on each of them.

I thought I was going crazy.  Glad to know others experienced the problem.  I could not find the link to open the forum.  Today I discovered it's under "Community".

I sent a couple of pleas for help to FSM customer service, but got no response.

I'm getting a recent threads banner and suddenly have to do a bunch of click arounds to get to the forums. Not sure what happened but I'm working my way around it.

A number Army Viet Nam scans from hundreds yet to be done:

Have had the great fortune to be on every side of the howitzers.

There seems to be other problems going on here.  I just got a message that the web site content quit unexpectedly, and the computer had to reload the page.  When I clicked on "report" I got a long list of computerese that I certainly could not understand.

I am seeing the same thing.  It seems to cover up something, not sure what, and I don't see any way to make this go away.  Highly annoying.  But this is only happening on my Windows 10 laptop; it is not happening on my mobile device.

Try holding "Ctrl" and hit "r". That took it off my work PC(which would not let me log off to log back in)...which did the trick for my home PC.

Also, for "recent threads", is ya hit the "Home" button in the top bar(once ya get that drop down window gone), it'll show the last ten threads posted in, with the furoms menu below it.

Yes I have found the ways to get to recent threads. Sort of like Dragon or AFV Club engineering - why do it in two steps/parts if we can do it in four or six...

Well if they fixed the glitch that will allow me to log on using my laptop I'll check that out. In the meantime I'll keep using my phone and iPad to keep up in here.
