Blurred out images

I think its the computer your useing. Is this happening on every post or just some.

I noticed yesterday somebody resurrected an old post and all of the photobucket-hosted pics looked to be intentionally blurred. If Photobucket are doing that now and you are browsing lots of old posts, I wonder might that be a part of what you are seeing?

That's not the exact thread I saw yesterday, but that's what I was taking about, yes.

Did some digging, looks like Photobucket is now blurring some user accounts, something about free accounts using too much bandwidth. You can read about it by searching "Photobucket blurred photos"

Lots of folks here, including me, used to use photobucket so lots of old threads will be affected, i think.

Thats part of the latest Photobucket extortion scheme. All the old free hosted images are now blurred, since the watermarks were not enough to get people to pay for a hosted account. 

I do wish a long lasting bad case of gastritis to all the PB execs involved in the decision making for this scheme...

Ha ha! I second that! Its a shame as I have just started a Semovente, and those pics would have helped with the interior.

Yeah, unfortunately PB wrecked a lot of threads on a lot of websites with their extortion schemes over the past few years. Seeing how you can’t trust them to not change things and honor their original commitments/agreements, I doubt they will have much luck....

Thanks! It might be a while as im the worlds second slowest builder. The laws that govern the universe mean that there must be someone, somewhere slower than me!

Yeah, unfortunately PB wrecked a lot of threads on a lot of websites with their extortion schemes over the past few years.

That's the worst part of it, so much useful information out there now gone.

The PB fiasco even had an effect on my own posting. I don't really trust any hosting site anymore, paid or free.

The funny thing is that I decided to have a look via an Android device and the photograps are fine! Only when I view via a PC do I get this! Go figure!!!!
