I solved the problem of losing all that typing by first typing it up on my text edit app. When you're finished with your narrative just save/copy and paste it. Whatever the forum does, you still have all that effort you saved for the next try.
As far as the logging out goes, I still have that problem occasionally and it usually takes about 7/10 days to resolve.
