Login connection is not secure

Good answer Tim. Thanks for the reassurance, what with all the major "Hacks" going around for all manner of national and international companies. It is good to know our information is safe, in “your” good hands.‍

Well, for this site, I changed my password to The Funniest Joke in the World, so if anyone tries to steal it, they will die laughing.  Should alleviate my concern!

If you log out of the website, you are automatically logged out of the forum. No actual personal info passes through the forum that isn't posted by the users.

As long as you're not making a financial transaction or anything along those lines then the risk is very slight. However, I do agree that it should be a concern and hopefully it gets rectified in the near future.

Generally not a fan of having to log into a site via an insecure page!

Nor am I. But my visits here are important to me so I let it go.

Last time this came up, a member here who is better informed than I of such things explained why it's not that big of a deal. Sorry I don't remember the details. Still annoys me, though.
