I've not had email notifications for the longest time now and trying this test again.... Tim tried with no luck to get me some help - never heard from anyone.
someone please reply here as a test. I'll add as a favorite too to see if that will jar things loose.
it's a very helpful feature I think a lot us would benefit from.

I too have the same issue. About two months ago I stopped getting all notifications.
Can't even manage the topics I am subscribed to. At the bottom of the page I have the following error.

It's a long standing issue that many of the aspects of these forums are broken, or working erratically. FSM has also made it clear that spending any money or time on fixing them is unlikely, as it is simply not a priority when they are struggling to stay in print at all.
If I'm interested in the subject of a thread, I make a post on it, and then I can use the "Your Discussions" button to keep track of new posts. As has already been said, the FSM crew kinda already has bigger fish to fry and not a whole lot of resources to do it, so its a pretty easy workaround.

For me, it has not worked for at least 5 years, probably longer. The private message tool has not worked for a few too. Oh, and let's not forget the ads that literally interfere with posts. Yes, there are workarounds to all this but in most cases pale in their delivery.
It is a real shame because this forum has so much going for it.
If I had the knowledge I would volunteer my time to fix it for them. Sadly, I do not.
yep, still busted - notta a one notification still. Good tip on the my discussions.
Anyone know if changing an email address will get notifications going again?? I sure miss them.
