An update, holding down shift will make it search i.e. if I am starting a sentance with the letter "C" I hit shift and type "c" and it jumps me up to the "current issue" button at the top of the page.

Must proper grammer die so we can post?Shock [:O]

Mine is doing the same thing, exept I don't have to hold down shift for it to go crazy.........But its only on this forum, not any others

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] My screen jumps all over the place when I am typing replies in the text window, as I am doing now. It seems to want to key in on every letter I type, and search the page for words beginning with that letter. It does all of the dinging and jumping around with just normal typing too, no shift key necessary. Extremely annoying.

I am using SBC Yahoo internet provider, and their associated Yahoo browser.
Also, when I fire up the regular old Internet Explorer browser, the typing in the text boxes works just fine. Seems to be a problem between this forum software AND the Yahoo! browser.

Glad it worked!

You won't get multiple tabs when you start the browser. What I do is make a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar (right click on the grey area next to the help button and choose Bookmark Toolbar) then put all the websites I want to open in it. Then a simple click of the middle mouse button opens them all in tabs.

F11 makes the screen go into and out of full screen mode for even larger views. Enjoy!

So long folks!

Thank you Soooooooooooooooooooo much! Firefox solved the problems!
Now i just gotta get all my favorites imported, home page set, etc, etc, etc.!
Another bonus is smaller icons in the toolbar which allows for more screen dedicated to viewing pages.
hope the tabs on this work similar to Yahoo's (multiple tabs when I start the browser).

Claymore68,

May I suggest that you change your browser?

Firefox is a free download and offers tabbed browsing which allows you to open different "windows" without actually opening windows. If you still wish to use IE, than Crazy Browser is also free, has the tabbed browsing and uses the IE engine for rendering. I have both and experience none of the problems you describe.

Grammer must not die! This has been a message from the

Can't use the backspace key to edit my typos, it sends me on a sarch for whatever word i'm typing, every other character "dings" at me (audible, loud and very irritating). When I used the "quote" button to reply every word I typed was searched for, even noew the screen is scrollingg up and down on it's own nad it's taking about 5 min to type this!
