A whole lot of "dinging" and jumping around!

My screen jumps all over the place when I am typing replies in the text window, as I am doing now. It seems to want to key in on every letter I type, and search the page for words beginning with that letter. It does all of the dinging and jumping around with just normal typing too, no shift key necessary. Extremely annoying.

I am using SBC Yahoo internet provider, and their associated Yahoo browser.
Also, when I fire up the regular old Internet Explorer browser, the typing in the text boxes works just fine. Seems to be a problem between this forum software AND the Yahoo! browser.
