Lost ScreenNames? List of accounts to be merged
Posted by David Voss on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 4:27 PM
Some people experienced problems in getting their old screenname during the registration process.  A new screenname was created and they "lost" their old posts.  If you're one of these people, please send us an email with your current creenname and former screenname.  We can merge the accounts together, but we ask that you allow for 1-2 days to take care of it.

Hi David , I'm not quite sure how to send you an email so i thought i'd post a mesage here for starters.I couldn't acces my old account so  i  had to re-registered and naturally my old post info was lost  . My old screen name was "olsen" and my new one is "plane mad" I know its kind of trivial but it would be cool if it could be fixed.

Thankyou, Peter Olsen.

Which screen name do you want to keep using?  Let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Hi David Voss,

I left a post for you re: the mege of my screen name from Bismark9 to Bismark. I still haven't seen anything and I am just wondering if there was a problem. For some reason I couldn't re-register as Bismark9 so I had to use Bismark as a screen name instead. This is fine as it was what I tried to register with over a year ago anyways.

Thanks for your attention to this.

Hi Dave, I sent you an email before, and I know there is a problem with the merging, but just in case it does iron itself out, I wanted to add myself to this thread as a reminder. Thanks.

I apologize to everyone who's been on the list waiting for the merge.  It's taken much longer than expected.  The good news, I'm almost done writing the merge function and pending any unforseen events, I should be able to test and run this tomorrow.
