Missing thread and missing watched threads...
Posted by Lufbery on Thursday, November 10, 2005 12:47 PM
Dave, Jeff, et. al.,

I can't find the thread, "How big is your model stash" anywhere. The search feature can't find it either.

Also, is there any way to retreive my watched threads from before? I was told that I'd be able to do that with this new software.

Regards,

-Drew

The search function seams to be buggy as well...it's not finding lots of stuff from way back. Is there any room for improving the search?

Ah, I just realized that Dave isn't feeling well, which explains his near absence.

Dave, I hope you feel well soon.

*bump*

I'd really like to know what happened to the thread I'm looking for.

Here ya go: How big is your model stash?

The "My Forums" link is also handy for finding discussions you've participated in.

David,

Thanks!

I tried the "My Forums" link and the thread I was looking for didn't show up when I was looking.

I've also lost my subscribed threads. Is there any way to get those back?

Lastly, when I got to the "aircraft" forum (for example) the "option" button allows me to display only those messages that I want to see . There's no options button in the My Forums area. Can one be added?

Thanks,

-Drew

When I copied over the threads from the old forum, I wasn't able to include a record of subscribed threads.  On one hand, it might be best that it wasn't because the new forum will send out a notice each and every time someone responds to the thread whereas the old forum only sent out a notice once until you came back and read the thread.

Thanks for the follow-up.

It has taken a little bit to get used to the new features, but overall I like the forum.

Good job!
