To add to the weirdness,  I'm currently logged in on my wifes computer (mine is currently having a conniption fit) and it has the same problem.  So it isn't just my PC.

No, no, you misunderstand! Overkillphil can't use tab to move from the email line to the password line when he logs in. I use Firefox myself, so I logged out and back in again with IE and edited the post using IE. There is NO password line in edit mode.

Nice to see you back on the boards, feeling better?

When editing the post, where do you see a password line?  Or were you taken to the login screen which is where you were using the tab?

So I found out, I've upgraded myself to Kitbashed and 4 stars, since I'm now over 1000 posts. I had originally used the 3 stars as my avatar and sized it to fit and it added jpeg artifacts to the background. When I posted the star-4.gif I discovered the background was correct. David Voss was planning ahead!

Dumb luck = clever sometimes. Sure would like to get to the bottom of the tab issue you're having!

I wish I could say that I was clever enough to do that but it was sheer dumb luck that it worked out that way.  But borrow away.  As for the rest; I guess life just sucks when your me sometimes.

That's interesting to know! I've noticed it doesn't do it all the time, and also that quoting a post with images that the images resize to their original size during the editing stage.

I'll try IE and see what happens. I use Firefox, which has it own quirks with the new forums. Photo resizing being the biggest (as in big photos not resizing) one.

By the way, I noticed you were clever enough to match the background colour for your 3 stars, I hope you don't mind if I borrow it!

I'm using IE.  Every other website on the web allows me to tab between fields, even other parts of the FSM site, but the log in isn't working for me.

Weird, mine works as advertised. What browser are you using?

I've checked "remember me" so I don't have to log in all the time.

It does it for me also Phil. I thought it was something I was doing wrong.

A small gripe.

Mr Voss,

Here's my small complaint.  When I go to log in, I type in my email address (which is a slight nuisance) then hit the tab key to get me to the password field.  Only the tab key skips the password field and highlights one of the options below.  I don't know if this is just a quirk of the new software or something that can be fixed.  A small gripe, I know, but it is is a little irritating to have move the mouse and click on the password field every time.
