Bill - what globe thing?  hmmm.. someone took my globe?

As far as the Avatar sometimes it is almost instantaneous, sometimes it takes 20 min or more... I don't know what to say about the animated one... I think I have an animated .gif I can try out and see if I can get it to work...

So....  this globe..  how big is it?  and can you see S. America or is it just a regular globe?

----edit----  ok I saw the globe.. rather unimpressive if you ask me!  Wink [;)]

---Tom--- O' brave new world, That has such people in it!

Odd thing. I have the option to remember my login details checked, and I've noticed that I'm often not showing up in the "online members" list. Which is weird given that I am currently the "most active member" which sounds somewhat pornographic in nature when you think about it. I have to log out and back in again before I show up on the list. The "globe" icon that appears next to my name when I post shows I am indeed online.

I'm also having a problem changing my avatar. I disabled that feature late last night and re-enabled it this morning with a new avatar that did stick, but now I can't change the avatar again! I tried a "dancing Hobbes" avatar, which is tres cool, but apparently animated avatars aren't supported (yet?). I would just leave it as a static avatar, but the background ends up black and looks like kack! So I'm avatarless which diminishes my stature in the eyes of the other members (kidding, I'm kidding!).

Another concern is with the highlight feature in the editor. It doesn't work. Also the [s][/s] strikethrough coding doesn't work. I live for strikethrough! Okay, I don't really, but sometimes it's fun to use, and I miss it.

So long folks!
